Grand Korea Leisure (GKL), the operator behind South Korea’s Seven Luck foreigner-only casinos, has officially withdrawn its pursuit of acquiring or developing a dedicated casino site in Seoul, citing strategic reassessment and unmet feasibility conditions. Although preliminary preparations were discussed for a potential feasibility study, GKL clarified that no formal application was submitted to relevant authorities and that current market conditions do not support such expansion.
