Analysts have slightly reduced their earnings projections for gaming operators after reviewing cost trends seen toward the end of 2025. While revenue growth in the sector is still forecast to expand, increasing operational costs could constrain margins.

Macau’s casino sector witnessed a notable decline in stock performance after analysts forecast weaker-than-expected October revenues, largely attributed to adverse weather and sluggish visitor traffic. The downbeat outlook, following months of steady recovery in gaming activity, has triggered renewed investor caution across Asia’s largest gambling hub. With recent typhoons and heavy rainfall disrupting travel and dampening tourist sentiment, analysts expect gross gaming revenue (GGR) to taper off in the coming weeks.
