Gaming and Leisure Properties Inc. (GLPI), one of the United States’ leading real estate investment trusts (REITs) specializing in gaming assets, has announced its acquisition of the site for the upcoming Live! Casino & Hotel Virginia. The deal, valued at approximately Rs. 4,165 crore, will include funding for the property’s construction through a structured lease agreement with The Cordish Companies, a long-term partner of GLPI.
