Illinois’ casino industry experienced a remarkable performance in July 2025, with total gaming revenue rising 23% year-over-year to approximately Rs.1,47,000 lakh (US$167.5 million). Electronic gaming devices (EGDs) remained the primary revenue driver, contributing over Rs.1,12,000 lakh (US$127.6 million), while table games added Rs.35,000 lakh (US$39.9 million), reflecting a 30% increase from July 2024. The state’s tax collections mirrored this growth, generating Rs.34,000 lakh (US$38.5 million), benefiting local communities hosting the casinos.
