Bolivia’s gambling regulator has significantly escalated its enforcement efforts, targeting both land-based and online illegal gaming operations while promoting a more transparent and compliant market environment. Over the past year, authorities authorized more than 1,200 promotional activities, conducted dozens of raids, and confiscated illegal gambling equipment nationwide. The regulator has also shifted focus toward digital enforcement, cracking down on unlicensed online bingo operations operating through social media and messaging platforms.
